The new Alias hinges are equipped with a practical adjustment method which improves on the previous system and ensures a longer calibration and setting duration. These are the steps to facilitate operators in the various stages of adjustment.

Vertical adjustment

It is possible to adjust the position of the door in a vertical direction by operating the hinges by using the following steps:

  1. Remove the top caps from both hinges.
  2. Unscrew and remove the locking screws using a 6 mm Allen key.
  3. Use the same key on the top hinge, turning the rotation pin counterclockwise to lower the door leaf, or clockwise to raise it.
  4. Once you have found the correct position, screw the lower hinge pin until it comes into contact with the bottom of your location.
  5. Finally, insert the locking screws and screw them until they stop and replace the previously removed protective caps.

Lateral adjustment

The horizontal adjustment of the door is carried out by the following steps:

  1. Open the door to at least 90°, remove the cover caps to access the adjustment screws located near the hinge and remove the semi-hinge cover from the frame.
  2. Loosen the fixing screws with a 6 mm Allen key.
  3. With a 3 mm Allen key, turn the adjustment screws inside the frame, clockwise to reduce the space between the door and the frame on the hinges side; counterclockwise to increase it.
  4. Once you have found the correct position of the door leaf, the previously-loosened fastening screws must be tightened. Replace the caps for the grain and hinge cover.
