On its 20th anniversary, Alias is proud to announce that it has launched a new manufacturing department that will reach full operation by the end of 2022.

The disruptive effect of the various building bonuses has generated an ever-increasing demand pulling – and in some cases overwhelming – even related sectors such as fittings, windows and doors, and of course also the security door sector. In the last 24 months, this exponential growth has put a strain on the manufacturing assets of even the most organised companies. Alias is investing in new facilities, expanding its Settima di Gossolengo manufacturing space (the area adjacent to the other corporate production facilities) where a brand new 4.0 line is about to be implemented, a cutting-edge solution as a result of its technical and functional aspects, able to take on – right now – extra demand and lay the foundations for a more fluid and high-performance production process in the years to come.

Work in progress of the new production plant located a few short steps from Alias’s original headquarters

A concrete response, a massive investment, with one eye on the future. Much more than a simple stop-gap solution. Turning manufacturing difficulties into long-term benefits was Alias’s choice. This solution will benefit customers in the near future. In a context of double-digit growth, market leaders could choose to favour just a few customers, only specific areas, focusing delivery on only the most profitable sectors, perhaps increasing prices. Alias has chosen the most challenging road but also the one that most respects its company history.

Delays due to the difficulty of finding raw materials, together with constantly increasing demand, have generated extraordinary delivery times. Working multiple shifts was the immediately viable solution, but to consolidate and offer robust answers to its customers, Alias decided to acquire new spaces and equip them with new production lines. Increased efficiency and quality, this is the answer. Because here too we have looked to the future to get ahead of the curve, always with an eye on the sustainability of the industrial cycle, employment and the high quality of the products and services offered.
